Ph.D. in Literary Theory (University of Salamanca, Extraordinary Award, 2016).
I do research on Lyric Theory and Comparative Poetics.

Since 2011, my research has focused on Cognitive Poetics and Epistemocriticism. I have conducted research stays at the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris III (2013), at the Université du Québec à Montréal (2015), at the University of Oslo (2022), and at the University of Munich (2023). I have worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Donostia International Physics Center (2015-2017), as Assistant Professor at Kiel University (2017-2019), and as Lecturer at the Université Sorbonne Paris Nord (2019-2020). I work since 2020 at the Comparative Literature and Literary Theory Department of the University of Salamanca, where I develop a research line on Cognitive Literary Theory.
I coordinate the Research and Education Initiative COPOS – Cognition in Comparative Poetics.
In July 2025 I joined the Executive Board of the International Network for the Study of the Lyric.
